Landfill Meetings Recycling Meetings
Recycling/landfill Committee ~ The Committee shall consist of five members appointed by the Town Council to staggered terms.
Two (2) members will have three (3)year terms, Two (2) members will have Two(2) year terms, and one (1) member will have One (1) year term.
Term vacancies shall be filled by the Town Council for the remainder of unexpired term. Established May 23, 2005 via Town Council Resolution August 11, 2008 combined with Landfill Committee by Town Council Resolution.
Ad Hoc members shall include Town Council Member, DPW Director, and Conservation Commission Member

Mission:
Our mission is to divert the flow of trash into our landfill by educating residents in the proper methods of recycling in order to extend the life of the towns' landfill. Our ongoing mission will be to find ways to fund the landfill closure account and monitor landfill operations.
